Paying For Your Kid's College Education

Let's face it- sending your kids to college costs a small fortune these days!

Before I knew any better, I had re-financed my home 3 times to pay for my kids' college education,
and that was in the 80's and 90's!

That's in addition to the student loans each of them acquired in pursuing an education.

But what I paid out for my 3 kids together with all their student loans, (which took them YEARS to pay off!) , would hardly cover the cost of a single student's education today!

It’s no secret… for decades college tuitions have been skyrocketing. And as the cost of higher education has exploded, students and families struggle to keep up with the high price tags.

In fact, the cost of college has significantly out-paced the rate of inflation or the growth in family incomes for decades and during the 1990's the cost of attending college rose over three times as fast as median family income.

And it just keeps getting worse!

Over the last 22 years the cost of a public four-year college education has increased by a whopping 202 percent, while the Consumer Price Index has gone up only 80 percent. (According to information gathered from the College Board and the Census Bureau)

For the 2006-2007 school year, average tuition and fees at a public four-year institution amount to over $6,000… an increase of 7.1 percent over just last year.
Private institutions are averaging over $22,000… an increase of 5.8 percent over last year’s average!

And they've got us over a barrel... because a college education is absolutely essential to financial success these days!

I can't do much about those statistics, BUT I hope I can help alleviate your problem a little.

I've found a source where you can actually FIND FREE MONEY FOR COLLEGE!

That's right -FREE MONEY!

Sure, you're STILL going to have expenses, but at least you won't have to max out all your credit cards, or re-finance your mortgage three times like I did!

How can you do this? Find a scholarship and use it to help pay some of those costs.

Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking: "Oh, sure, find a scholarship! My kid doesn't play basketball or football, and his GPA isn't that hot, either. How's he going to get a scholarship?"

Well, surprise, surprise! Athletics and GPAs make up only a small portion of scholarship grants!
It doesn't really matter whether your kid is an athlete or not; it doesn’t matter if his GPA is top of the class or bottom of the barrel – chances are, there’s a scholarship for him!

If you're broker than broke,it makes no difference! The chances are there’s a scholarship for him!
No
matter what your background, education, ethnic origin or sports affiliation… chances are, there’s a scholarship out there for him.

Believe it or not, some people have found a “duct-tape scholarship"! Some have found a “left handed scholarship”! (That would have worked for me, because I'm left-handed!).

There are scholarships for twins!

There are scholarships for skateboarders!

There are scholarships for tall people!

There are scholarships for small people!

There’s even a scholarship available from the "Klingon Language Institute" - NO KIDDING!!

So why am I telling you all this?

Because there's a place on line where you can actually FIND scholarships and FREE MONEY for your kids. It will cost you a few bucks to do it, but a few bucks now is a whole lot better than thousands when your kid goes to college, isn't it?

I wish I had known about this years ago, because it took me 15 years to pay off my kids' education costs. You can bet I'm telling them about it, because I've got four grand children who will be ready for college before too long! I want to help them as much as I can.
